Animal India Trust receives some government assistance but also funds its activities from charitable donations.

Within India, Animal India Trust can accept donations made in cash or by cheque, and all donations are entitled to 80G tax exemption of the Income Tax Act.

Outside of India, Animal India Trust can accept donations via Paypal in any foreign currency.

What things cost.

To feed a dog for one day costs                                      15 rupees or 17p or 35 cents

To sterilise a dog requires medicines costing                375 rupees or £4.30 or $8.50

To vaccinate a dog against rabies costs                         80 rupees or 92p or $1.80
